The Nioxin System 2 Scalp + Hair Thickening System 2 Trial Kit is a nice kit to try if you have damaged and fragile hair. It comes in three parts - a clarifying shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment. The shampoo is great because it’s a clarifying shampoo so you can use it regardless of your hair type. I enjoyed the clean smell and it definitely clarifies the scalp. The conditioner wasn’t anything special, a regular conditioner that didn’t feel thick enough in texture for my liking. The leave in treatment in nice if you don’t rely on other products in your routine. If you style your hair with a blow dry afterwards this may not be compatible with all your other products eg serums and mousses. Overall it’s a nice system I just need to see what difference it makes with longer use. It didn’t much a difference in a few weeks.

Olay always delivers fabulous creams for all skin types and I have never been unhappy with a cream of theirs! I was so excited to try this. The packaging is succinct and easy to read, attractive to look at. The jar feels luxurious. The only downside to a jar is if you are germ conscious and don’t want your fingers getting into your product and spoiling it. I can look past that for the experience. The cream itself is a fabulous texture. I have skin that sometimes feels dry, sometimes feels bit oily. So this cream caters for either scenario. It absorbs so quickly and has a beautiful scent. If using it in conjunction with firming serums, I feel that it would support great results. However on its own I would not consider it to fulfill all my anti aging needs. A fabulous cream all around!!

Neutrogena is a trusted brand, I’ve used many of their products. I was excited to try this retinol since I know this brand’s retinol game is strong. This serum is smooth and an elegant formula. The bottle is nice and solid and I like that the packaging is opaque so less sun damage on the product. I have used it for three weeks now. I already use retinols so didn’t need to work up to nightly. I’d say it’s definitely doing something! Hard to say if it’s smoothing fine lines within only a few weeks but it has definitely kept a good smooth skin texture and my skin looks firm. I’ll definitely keep using this till it’s finished. Beautiful retinol.

I have used so many facial accessories like this in the past but haven’t really stuck to them before. I find they can be a bit gimmicky. This is a beautiful wand because it’s heavy. It gives a nice massage if you work it into the skin. I honestly don’t like the packaging, I find it to look a bit cheap. I think the packaging could be a lot nicer to justify the product inside. You can refrigerate this for a nice cooling effect. It gives a nice neck massage since it’s a heavy tool. It is too expensive I wouldn’t say it’s worth it at all.

This is a gorgeous foundation! Wow. Revlon has always been fail proof for face makeup. I was really excited to use this foundation. The applicator is PERFECTION. Thank you Revlon. Finally a serum style foundation that doesn’t fail in the packaging territory. The applicator is smooth and large enough to either smear onto the back of your hand or straight onto your face. You can dot it around your imperfections and pat it straight in. It’s buildable. It looks natural. I will definitely be repurchasing this one! Love love love.

Bioderma is a super reliable pharmacy brand, I’ve used the micellar for years when travelling or camping. Really lovely products. I love a good cleansing oil so was very excited to try this new launch. I am an avid sunscreen user so I always double cleanse. I’ve used cleansing oils in the past, but they haven’t always washed off very well. I knew this one would be different. This one emulsifies really well with the water and it does not leave any residue whatsoever on your skin. I use it at night time before I jump in the shower and do my second cleanse, I think this definitely does a good job at washing off all my make up and sunscreen.

John Frieda has always been the pharmacy go to brand for women I know with super frizzy hair. I love their shampoos and conditioners and did use to use their frizz serum range when I was in high school. I ended up moving on to other brands as there is so much out there to try but when I got the chance to come back to this brand and try this extra strength serum, I can see why I loved this brand for such a long time. This serum is light and you can build it up. This is important for a serum because sometimes when you accidentally use a bit too much it can look too greasy. This serum doesn’t do that! You can build it from wet hair and after you finish styling you can add a bit more. Love that especially for summer.

Burt’s bees is an excellent brand for lip care. I’ve used most of their different lip products, from the tinted balms to the lip glosses, shimmery lip balms to their scented lip balms. This is the first time I’ve tried this one though. It does exactly as expected! Leaves a nice beautiful protective film on the lips, looks and feels really nice under lipstick particularly matte lippies. As this isn’t tinted it’s great to use at night. I keep it in my handbag. I usually leave a lip balm in my stroller and on my bedside table to will give this another go and buy another next time I’m at the shops

I don’t usually use speciality soaps on my nether region. I use normal body wash on the outside area and find this to be enough. I was given this product to try and thought I’ll give it a go. Smells lovely and fresh, kind of like a cucumber linen type of clean scent. I wouldn’t use this every day as I don’t see it necessary unless you’re super sweaty there or experiencing odour issues. I did try it a few times while on my period and that gave a bit of a pamper experience but I wouldn’t use this every day to be honest. I think body wash suffices. If you like a separate wash then this is lovely.

This is a new brand to me so I was interested in trying their hair products. It’s researched and made in Germany. The shampoo I used with this conditioner is from the fine brittle line and I found it has made my hair texture feel a little thicker. This Plantur 39 Conditioner definitely moisturises my hair, but not as much as I’d like it to. I like my hair feeling slippery and super soft after I rinse out my conditioner, as I have found with other conditioners, but this one doesn’t give me that feeling unfortunately. I won’t purchase again for that reason alone. If you already have normal hair that isn’t damaged, this is still a great conditioner.
